The secret is in the light
Here’s the thing: we use short-wave infrared. Most heaters just warm up the air, which is fine, but that air just floats around. These lamps are different. A couple of things to watch out for
It’s not all magic, though. These lamps pack a lot of heat into a small space. If your bathroom is tiny, the room can get hot—fast. You’ve got to keep an eye on your ceiling height and the wattage you choose so you don’t turn your bathroom into a sauna. And a pro tip for when you’re installing them:don’t touch the bulbs with your bare hands. The quartz glass is super sensitive. If you leave a fingerprint or a bit of skin oil on the glass, it creates a “hot spot.” Once the lamp heats up, that spot can cause the glass to crack. Grab a clean cloth or some gloves, and you’ll be golden.
